Breastfeeding is our biological right.
But like all new skills, breastfeeding takes patience and practice.
You’ll come away from this workshop feeling empowered,
educated, and supported. We’ll discuss the merits of breastfeeding,
we’ll learn some science about how the breast works, and we’ll practice position + latch techniques.
We’ll cover how to tell if baby is getting enough milk, what the first days home from the hospital look like,
and what it means to find emotional support during the postpartum period. We’ll also dispel some of the myths of
breastfeeding and address some of the most common concerns — everything from sore nipples, to plugged ducts, to
what the transition back to work can look like.
The goal of this workshop is only to give you the tools to make informed decisions about how to feed your little ones and how to use or not us your bodies. Come one, come all. Partners welcome
